Deep Purple's Rapture of the Deep (20th Anniversary Remix) came out on 29 August 2025 through earMUSIC as a CD digipak and two 3LP editions, and King Records released it in Japan on 22 October 2025 on two Blu-spec CDs (KICP-4106/7), 17 tracks in about 81 minutes. Roger Glover supervised the new mix of the 2005 record, which the label counts as the band's 18th studio album; it was analogue-mastered at Chameleon Studios in Hamburg and has new cover art. Glover recalls that the band had no record deal when writing began and felt somewhat adrift, and says the remix sounds like a new album to him. Blabbermouth's track listing notes that "Things I Never Said" and "MTV" were not on the original album, while the second disc holds five 2005 jams and rehearsals mixed for the first time, among them "Closing Note", an unreleased instrumental by then-guitarist Steve Morse. earMUSIC has posted animated-artwork videos for "Junkyard Blues", "Clearly Quite Absurd" and "Things I Never Said".
