Suffer Divine

Suffer Divine is Darkest Hour's eleventh studio album, due from MNRK Heavy on 30 October 2026. Its eleven tracks open with "All Cruelty Springs From Weakness" and end with "A Story Of Redemption"; Mark Lewis, whose credits include Whitechapel, The Black Dahlia Murder and Cannibal Corpse, recorded them in Nashville in spring 2026 and also produced and mixed the album. Guitarist Mike Schleibaum says the album's sound grew out of a love of music such as melodic death metal, and that its concept touches on drawing self-worth from one's own suffering, something he says the making of the record acted out. The first single was the title track, out on 1 September with a video directed by Thomas Mignone; singer John Henry calls it a song about justice and accountability, meant for anyone who pushes hatred and division. Nico Santora (lead guitar), Aaron Deal (bass) and Travis Orbin (drums) complete the line-up, with Schleibaum on rhythm guitar, in a band that came out of the Washington, DC area in 1995. The album follows Perpetual | Terminal, released in February 2024. The CD is MNKCD444518 and the LP MNKLP444513; Japanese retailers date both imports 13 November, and no Japanese edition had been announced by September 2026.
