An Insatiable Violence is the ninth album by the Montreal death metal band Cryptopsy. Season of Mist released it on 20 June 2025 and Victor Entertainment issued the Japanese edition on 20 August as VICP-65642, eight tracks in about 34 minutes with notes, lyrics and translations. The band had left Nuclear Blast after a single record there, 2023's As Gomorrah Burns, and signed worldwide to the French label. Most of the songs were written on the road, the Japanese label says, during the May and June 2024 tour with Death To All. The sleeve reproduces a painting by Martin Lacroix, who sang with the band in the early 2000s and died in 2024; his family gave permission for its use. Mike DiSalvo, another former singer, guests on "Embrace the Nihility". The line-up is Flo Mounier on drums, Matt McGachy on vocals, Christian Donaldson on guitar and Oli Pinard on bass, and two Japanese shows were booked at Shibuya WWWX for 11 and 12 December 2025.
