50th Anniversary Live - First Night captures Blue Öyster Cult on the first of three sold-out nights at Sony Hall in New York, 21 to 23 September 2022, each of which played one of their early records whole: Blue Öyster Cult, Tyranny and Mutation and Secret Treaties. Disc one is the debut album from end to end and disc two is hits and deep cuts, "(Don't Fear) The Reaper", "Godzilla" and "Burnin' for You" among them. Founding member Albert Bouchard guests. Japan gets the two-CD set and also editions packaged with a Blu-ray or a DVD. Ward Records released it on 8 December 2023 as GQCS-91407. Twenty-four tracks, about a hundred and eleven minutes.
