Bloodride's Deafening, the fifth studio album by the Helsinki thrash metal band formed in 2000, came out through Wormholedeath Records on 25 July 2025, and Wormholedeath Japan released it on 31 October 2025 as an imported CD with Japanese specifications (BITX1401), twelve tracks in about 37 minutes.

Bloodride's Deafening, the fifth studio album by the Helsinki thrash metal band formed in 2000, came out through Wormholedeath Records on 25 July 2025, and Wormholedeath Japan released it on 31 October 2025 as an imported CD with Japanese specifications (BITX1401), twelve tracks in about 37 minutes. Wormholedeath describes the band's sound as old-school thrash with a darker, death metal edge and hardcore drive. Recorded in 2024 at the band's own Peter's Cross Studios by drummer Petteri Lammassaari, it was mixed and mastered by Jarno Hänninen at D-Studio, with artwork by Niko Bauer. Lammassaari co-founded the band with Niko Karppinen, replaced by guitarist Simo Partanen in 2013; singer Jykä Leskinen, guitarist Teemu Vähäkangas and bassist Esa Pennala came aboard early, so, as Dead Rhetoric notes, four of the five go back to the start. The band, whose earlier albums are Crowned In Hell (2011), Bloodmachine (2014), Planet Alcatraz (2016) and Idiocracy (2021), posted videos for "Come in Peace", "Erase and Replace", "King of Pain" and "Kill without Hate" during 2025.
