East Of Eden's "Ghost Sequence" Streams Ahead Of The CD, With A Full-Length Lyric Video

On October 17, East Of Eden put "Ghost Sequence", the opening theme of the TV anime Toaru Anbu no Shoujo Kyousei, out on streaming services. Their official fan club site announced the release that day, and the band's official YouTube channel published a lyric video, "East Of Eden / Ghost Sequence (Lyric Video Full Ver.)", alongside it. The October 17 streaming date had been set back on August 28, when the CD was announced; the CD itself has a release date of November 4, in a regular and an anime edition.

On Spotify, Apple Music and more — and a lyric video of the whole song

The streaming link in the fan club's announcement lists Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, LINE MUSIC, YouTube Music, KKBOX and Dhits for streaming, and iTunes and RECOCHOKU for downloads, under the line "2026.10.17 Release".

As the "Full Ver." in its title says, the lyric video runs the length of the song. When the band were named for the opening theme on July 3, the fan club pointed fans to the anime's main trailer, where part of "Ghost Sequence" could be heard.

A new series in the Toaru project, first broadcast on October 9

The anime's official site presents Toaru Anbu no Shoujo Kyousei as a new series in the Toaru project, which has passed 31 million copies in total. The animation is by J.C.STAFF.

TOKYO MX and BS11 began broadcasting it at 24:30 on Friday, October 9, and AT-X at 22:30 the same day; it also streams on ABEMA and other services.

It is East Of Eden's first anime tie-in. Their opening theme was announced on July 3, together with news that another new song, "ONE WAY", would be used on the latest Toaru-series gaming machine.

The CD on November 4: six tracks on the regular edition, a newly drawn sleeve on the anime edition

The CD has a release date of November 4 on Warner Music Japan and comes in two editions, each a single CD. The regular edition (WPCL-13843, 2,310 yen including tax) carries six tracks: the title song, "ONE WAY" and "Evolve (English Version)" — the band's debut song, recorded again by the current five-piece with an all-English lyric — plus an instrumental of each.

The anime edition (WPCL-13844, 1,870 yen) holds three: the title song, its TV-size edit and an instrumental. Its sleeve was drawn for the anime and shows Shizuri Mugino, one of the main characters.

First pressings carry an extra inside: a solo trading card, one of five at random, with the regular edition, and a solo alternate jacket, also one of five at random, with the anime edition. Stores add first-come bonuses of their own, among them a mega-jacket from Amazon.co.jp, a postcard from Rakuten Books and bromides from animate.

Hong Kong, eight release events, and Hitomi Memorial Hall in the new year

East Of Eden are Ayasa on violin, Akane Minato on vocals, Yuki on guitar, MINA on bass and MIZUKI on drums. Next come "East Of Eden Live in Hong Kong 2026" at PORTAL in Hong Kong on October 25 and eight Ghost Sequence release events, from HMV&BOOKS SHIBUYA on October 28 to Yodobashi Akiba on November 23 (our October 13 feature sets out each one).

On December 5 they play "East Of Eden Special Live 2026 〜 ALL IN 〜" at KAAT Kanagawa Arts Theatre, and on January 30, 2027, a headline show, "East Of Eden Premier Live 2027 〜 a starry night 〜", at Hitomi Memorial Hall.
