Two Hunters

This was the band's first record for Southern Lord Records, and they made minimal use of any digital effects or manipulation in recording it. The band is Nathan Weaver on guitar and vocals, Aaron Weaver on drums and Rick Dahlin on guitar and vocals, with Jessika Kenney singing on the third and fourth pieces. The band produced it with Randall Dunn, who engineered and mixed with Mell Dettmer; Dettmer also mastered it. Christophe Szpajdel drew the logo. Four pieces run a little over forty minutes. The album was critically acclaimed and put the band at the forefront of the North American black metal scene. The vinyl edition holds an extended version of "Cleansing", about six minutes longer, and a previously unreleased piece, "To Reveal"; the Japanese release on Daymare Recordings adds a second disc with their 2005 demo. The running order here is the original's as printed.
