Unfinished

Unfinished is the third Unlucky Morpheus album, out on 29 July 2020 as ANKM-0036 through Disk Union at 3,080 yen including tax. Two years had passed since CHANGE OF GENERATION, with the EP Takiyashahime in between. What marks this record is how much film was made for it. Music videos went to "Unending Sorceress", "Kago no Tori", "Top of the ‘M’" and "Carry on singing to the sky", and there is an album trailer as well. The "Kago no Tori" video is a 3D piece by the animator Shi-e, and the whole set shows how much of the band's effort in these years went into filming. 2020 was a hard year to play live. The band streamed a concert on 30 August and put official films of "Kago no Tori" and "Make your choice" from it on their channel, so six of the nine songs ended up with footage of one kind or another. On 1 October 2021 at Toyosu PIT they played all nine, very nearly in album order; that performance is the first disc of “XIII” Live at Toyosu PIT. Running one album straight through is something they have done on record only that once.
