LINER NOTES
LANGUAGE
Totally Twisted - The Studio Albums 1982-1987, out from BMG and Rhino Entertainment on 13 November 2026, comes in two shapes: five CDs holding fifty tracks, or five LPs with one colour per album, red, blue, pink, green and yellow. Only the CD set adds "King of the Fools", which first appeared solely on the CD issue of Come Out and Play, so the vinyl runs to forty-nine.
The records take Twisted Sister from the 1982 debut Under the Blade to Love Is for Suckers in 1987, with You Can't Stop Rock 'n' Roll (1983), Stay Hungry (1984) and Come Out and Play (1985) in between. Stay Hungry is the one that went multi-platinum, on the back of "We're Not Gonna Take It" and "I Wanna Rock".
Dee Snider sings throughout, with Jay Jay French and Eddie "Fingers" Ojeda sharing the guitars and Mark "The Animal" Mendoza on bass. The drum chair changed once: A.J. Pero played on the first four albums and left after the Come Out and Play tour, and Joey "Seven" Franco, formerly of the Good Rats, drummed on Love Is for Suckers.
