GLOW ON

Glow On, styled in all capitals, is the third studio album by the American band Turnstile, released on 27 August 2021 through Roadrunner Records. It was recorded in the summer of 2020 at Phantom Studios in Gallatin, Tennessee, by the producer Mike Elizondo, and is the band's first release with a featured guest, the British singer, songwriter and producer Blood Orange. It is also the last album with founding guitarist Brady Ebert, who left in August 2022. It was preceded by the band's fifth EP, Turnstile Love Connection, on 27 June 2021, which previewed four songs including the lead single "Mystery" against a short film directed by frontman Brendan Yates. "Alien Love Call" with Blood Orange, "Blackout" and "Fly Again" followed as singles across July and August 2021. The album sold 15,600 album-equivalent units in its first week and entered the Billboard 200 at number 30, the band's first appearance on that chart. Critics praised it widely, and Spin and the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette both named it the best album of 2021. "Holiday" and "Blackout" were nominated at the 65th Grammy Awards.
