Black Rose: A Rock Legend joins Thin Lizzy’s hard-rock power, Irish feeling and narrative gift with unusual naturalness. Phil Lynott’s bass and voice do more than lead the songs; they establish the point of view, the characters and the emotional landscape. Around him, Gary Moore and Scott Gorham create a vivid guitar conversation, combining sharp riffs with melodic lines that seem to answer one another.
