Crowned in Terror

This is one of two albums on which Johan Lindstrand does not sing. Tomas Lindberg of At the Gates took the vocals instead, while Lindstrand added backing vocals to "Death Metal Holocaust". Lindstrand later re-recorded the vocals and the same record was reissued as Crowned Unholy. The band is Magnus Olsfelt on bass, Marcus Sunesson and Marko Tervonen on guitars and Janne Saarenpaa on drums. Sunesson and Tervonen recorded it themselves; Chris Silver produced and mixed, Kenneth Svensson mastered, and Thomas Ewerhard did the cover and layout. On 24 May 2002 it went to number one in the Loud Rock section of CMJ New Music Report. In 2018 the band announced a vinyl reissue, sold in the European Union as 180-gram black, amber marbled, clear teal marbled or bone white marbled, and in the United States as orange-brown marbled. The running order here is the original's as printed.
