Even the Devil Believes came out on 4 September 2020 through Frontiers Music Srl, and it is the first Stryper studio album Perry Richardson actually plays on, on bass and backing vocals.
Michael Sweet produced, with most of the sessions at SpiritHouse Recording Studios alongside engineer Danny Bernini. Beyond the four members the credits carry Paul McNamara on organ, keys and Moog, with additional backing vocals from Keith Pittman. The record was made during the COVID-19 pandemic.
It gave the band their first No. 1 on Billboard's Top Christian Albums chart, in September 2020.
