Get What You Deserve (SHM-CD)

Get What You Deserve is the sixth studio album Sodom released in January 1994. It was the first full-length with drummer Atomic Steif, produced by the band together with Wolfgang Stach and recorded live in the studio without a single overdub. Tom Angelripper later described it as a return to the roots of Venom and Motörhead, with the punk background of guitarist Andy Brings coming through strongly. It closes with "Angel Dust", a Venom song. On 27 February 2026 BMG (Noise) reissued the album in an expanded edition with a new mix and remaster by Andy Brings, and the reissue reached number 5 on the German album chart. The original had peaked at number 45, so this was its first top-ten placing, more than thirty years on. In Japan, Marquee Inc. released this SHM-CD (MICP-30232) on its Avalon label on 24 June 2026. It holds the album's sixteen tracks in the 2026 remaster and the four songs of the 1993 Aber bitte mit Sahne! EP, "Aber bitte mit Sahne", "Sodomized '93", "Abuse" and "Skinned Alive '93", twenty in all, in a new sleeve. The EP was made to introduce Atomic Steif and was Stach's first work with the band; its title track is a cover of a German-language song composed by Udo Jürgens.
