Dangerous Charm

Dangerous Charm, released in November 1987, was the last Sinner album for Noise. Andy Susemihl joined to record it. His own biography describes Sinner at that point as a Noise International recording group, and says the release was followed by a European tour and a publicity campaign that positioned the band as a formidable newcomer. That line-up then came apart. Both Susemihl and Mathias "Don" Dieth — who had been brought in from Gravestone in 1986 — left for U.D.O., the band Udo Dirkschneider put together in 1987: Dieth as a founding member, Susemihl on the tour behind the debut Animal House. Dieth would not appear on a Sinner studio recording again until "Born to Run" on the 2026 farewell album, thirty-nine years later. Victor paired this album with Comin' Out Fighting on a Japanese twofer in 1999.
