LINER NOTES
LANGUAGE
The twelfth album was released by CBH/Virgin in September 1995. It was recorded at Gems Studio in Boston, Lincolnshire and Revolution Studio in Manchester, and produced by Biff Byford with Rainer Hänsel. It reached fifty-five in Germany and forty-three in Switzerland.
The record falls in a period of change for the band in both sound and personnel, with the writing moving further toward hard rock.
It is also the last album with Graham Oliver, who was expelled from the band afterwards for leading the sale of a 1980 live recording without their permission. The 2006 CD reissue added two live tracks recorded in 1995.
The running order given here is the original pressing's.
