Twenty single labels fill the front of this BGO Records set, thirteen from Carrere, two from Parlophone and five from EMI, and the strap beneath them reads "Over forty tracks on three discs". Behind them are both sides of the 7-inch singles Saxon put out between 1979 and 1988, 43 tracks in all, thirteen on the first CD and fifteen on each of the other two, digitally remastered and with newly written notes. The UK release date is 13 November 2026.
Five of the A-sides reached the UK Top 40, all of them between 1980 and 1983: "Wheels of Steel" (20), "747 (Strangers in the Night)" (13), "And the Bands Played On" (12), "Never Surrender" (18) and "Power and the Glory" (32). Turn the singles over and there is a remix of "20,000 Ft.", concert recordings of "Judgement Day" and "See the Light Shining", and two tracks billed as live in Madrid, "Everybody Up" and "Broken Heroes". The last A-side is "I Can't Wait Anymore", from 1988.
In Japan SOLID RECORDS handles the set as an import with an obi, CDSOL-73045; BGO's own number is BGOCD1588.
