Screaming Murder Death from Above: Live in Aalborg

Raven's third full live album comes from one night at Skråen in Aalborg, Denmark, at the end of November 2017, and Steamhammer/SPV released it on 18 January 2019. How the tape came to exist is the odd part: the band had no idea the show was being recorded. The venue's sound engineer handed drummer Mike Heller a memory stick afterwards, and Heller left it in his pocket and forgot about it for roughly six months, until Raven needed something to release. Exactly one edit was made. Around five seconds of dead air, where Gallagher broke a bass string and had to change instruments, were patched; nothing else was altered. That makes it a different kind of document from 1984's Live At The Inferno, which was assembled from several dates — this one is a single evening from beginning to end. Ward Records issued it in Japan on the same day as GQCS-90679, with a Japanese booklet.
