To the Nameless Dead

This is the sixth studio album by the Irish band. It was recorded at Foel Studio in Wales with the producer Chris Fielding, using all analogue equipment and mostly first or second takes for the final recording, which is where its raw, spontaneous sound comes from. The band is A. A. Nemtheanga on vocals, mixing and mastering, Ciaran MacUiliam and Michael O'Floinn on guitars, Pol MacAmlaigh on bass and Simon O'Laoghaire on drums. The album was overwhelmingly praised and was named metal album of the year for 2008 by Chronicles of Chaos, the webzine honouring Primordial in back-to-back years for the first time. A limited digibook edition was also issued, with different cover art, a forty-page booklet and a bonus DVD. The running order here is the original's as printed.
