Unbridled

Unbridled is the eighth Pride of Lions studio album, released by Frontiers Music Srl on 10 July 2026. Jim Peterik produced it and Larry Millas mixed it. Marquee Incorporated / Avalon issued the Japanese edition on 22 July as MICP-12035 at ¥3,300 including tax; the import carries the catalogue number FRCD1571. The players are Toby Hitchcock on lead vocals and Jim Peterik on lead vocals, keyboards and secondary guitar, with Ed Breckenfeld on drums and percussion, Mike Aquino on lead electric and acoustic guitar and Bob Lizik on bass. Twelve songs. The two stallions on the sleeve are the work of Mark Alano, and while the record was still being made Peterik said in a January 2026 interview that the opening title track carries an intro from Mike Aquino built in the spirit of "Eruption". Three official films went out around it, all from the label's own channel: Greg Bizzaro's video for the title track on 22 April 2026, a visualizer for "Edge Of Forever" on 1 June, and one for "I'll Be Your Rock" on release day itself, 10 July. The Japanese edition runs to thirteen tracks with an acoustic version of "Hell Or High Water", for one hour two minutes and forty-nine seconds.
