“Schizoid” is PaleNeØ's second digital single, released on October 1, 2023. It carries the title song plus “Virtual Rebellion” and “In the Aquarium,” and arrived roughly four months after the first digital single, PANORAMA. None of the three stopped here. “Schizoid” and “In the Aquarium” were both taken onto the 2024 mini album ØCTAVE, while “Virtual Rebellion” appears in an album mix on that year's first full-length, SCØRE. “In the Aquarium” went further still: an acoustic version was handed out as a venue-only disc at Hohomi's birthday acoustic show in March 2024. Outside Japan the title track is listed as “Schizoid” and the closing song as “In the Aquarium.” For a record made inside the band's first six months, these three songs turned out to be the frame the later catalogue was built on.
