LINER NOTES
LANGUAGE
The first album by the band Dan Lilker started with John Connelly after leaving Anthrax. It was recorded in May 1986 at Pyramid Studio in Ithaca, New York, engineered by Alex Perialas and produced by him with the band. The line-up was Connelly on guitar and vocals, Lilker on bass, Anthony Bramante on guitar and Glenn Evans on drums.
The writing brings the brevity and directness of hardcore into thrash, and most of the twelve songs run two to three minutes. "Live, Suffer, Die", "Radiation Sickness" and "Brain Death" put the speed and the social and political lyrics in the same place.
Perialas was at the centre of thrash recording in those years, with Anthrax and S.O.D. among his credits. The running order here is the 1986 original's as printed.
