Cancelled is an EP, released by Big Machine Records on 4 October 2024 (catalogue number 00843930115594). Three tracks, about twelve minutes, and the band’s first release after joining the Big Machine Label Group.
It holds the title song, ‘Dogs of War’ and ‘Fight for Your Right’ — the last a cover of the song the Beastie Boys released in 1986.
Mötley Crüe’s most recent studio album at this point was Saints of Los Angeles from 2008; the years since had not produced a full-length. This is not one either, by length, but it was presented as the first record of a new label deal.
