Liner Notes
≠encore. gathers LUMiRiSE’s first chapter, a vocalist change and the determination to restart into one debut album. The brief “Opening SE” leads directly into “RESOLVER,” where Kotomi’s high, projecting voice establishes the emotional center of the renewed lineup. “Love Emotion” balances urgency with vulnerability, while “crazy circus” darkens the atmosphere through digital detail and a harder riff. “Amaryllis” and “Lovin'you” reveal the band’s more intimate melodic side without reducing its momentum.
“Let’s Go Party Night” resets the middle of the record with chants and celebratory energy. “eternal light” expands the search for hope into a broad, uplifting chorus. Later, “SHOOTER” and “BATTINESS” reconnect the album to LUMiRiSE’s original loud-rock identity, now framed by the confidence of the newer performance style. “Kimi ga Ite” offers direct gratitude as a clear ballad, and “Gobuzaki no Cosmos” closes with the image of a flower not yet fully open, leaving growth rather than completion as the final message.
The record moves through punk, metal, visual-kei color, anime-song brightness and pop melody, yet it remains coherent because every track shares speed, vocal height, lyrical density and live-house immediacy. Its title means that life is a single performance with no encore. LUMiRiSE turns that idea away from nostalgia and into a declaration to keep moving forward.
