RE:RAIGN

RE:RAIGN is the second solo album by Sally, the Tokyo-born guitarist who became a full member of LONESOME_BLUE in June 2026. It follows her debut, BURN IT (5 February 2025), on the same label, MARQUEE/AVALON, and has a release date of 11 November 2026 in two editions: a single CD (MICL-20017, 3,500 yen including tax) and a limited edition with a DVD (MIZL-60003, 5,500 yen) that holds the "Last New WORLD" music video and behind-the-scenes footage of the video and photo shoot. The title's RAIGN is a coined word joining "reign" and "rain", and its "RE:" carries both an answer to her first album and the resolve to stand up again, as MUSIC BEEAST reported on 24 September 2026. The label's notes present the record as the next chapter of BURN IT's story: that album was meant as a spark for turning everyday frustration into energy, and this one follows the burn to the scar it leaves, healed harder than before, and to a new round of the fight. Five of its nine tracks are instrumentals. The other four each bring in a different guest singer: RAIN on "Last New WORLD", Anchang of SEX MACHINEGUNS on "MONSTER FINGER", Anju Tachibana on "Lady on Fire" (she also sang "Lost at SEA" on BURN IT) and Ai Hasegawa on 「逢いたい」. Sally composed all nine and wrote the words of the sung pieces, with one exception: Anchang wrote the lyric of "MONSTER FINGER" as well as singing it. Sally arranged five songs herself, "Revenge", "Justice is", "DUEL EVE", "MONSTER FINGER" and "IMPLICATION". Mao, formerly of LIGHT BRINGER and also a composer for LONESOME_BLUE, arranged "Last New WORLD", "Solipsism" and 「逢いたい」, and Freddy of Serenity In Murder arranged "Lady on Fire". Jinya of Unlucky Morpheus mixed and mastered all nine. The opener and the closer were heard first. "Revenge" and "IMPLICATION" made up TWO-THREE, a two-track CD-R sold in the autumn of 2025 at the M3 event and through the online store and released digitally on 20 March 2026. "IMPLICATION" became the opening theme of 「麻雀最強戦 2026」, the mahjong series presented by Takeshobo's Kindai Mahjong and shown weekly on ABEMA from August to December 2026; its ending theme is "SAMURAI", from BURN IT. The music video for the lead track, "Last New WORLD", went up on Sally's YouTube channel on 5 September 2026 (Japan time). The release is marked by a talk and signing at Tower Records Shinjuku on 14 November and a signing at Disk Union Osaka on 20 November, and the tour's dates are in January 2027: two-band shows with Mardelas, "DUAL EDGE", at Bigtwin diner SHOVEL in Osaka on the 23rd and RAD NINE in Nagoya on the 24th, and the final, "DUAL IMPACT" with SEX MACHINEGUNS, at SHIBUYA CYCLONE in Tokyo on the 30th. Sally formed the girl rock band LIPSTICK in 2012 and was its main composer, writing the lyrics of most of its songs as well. After the band stopped playing live, she built a solo career around the videos she began posting on YouTube in January 2023, and released her first solo recording, Three-Count, three instrumentals, in March 2024. She has also played in the girls' band LOC since November 2023.
