Deep Indigo

Deep Indigo is KOIAI's debut EP, self-released on May 1, 2023. The band had formed in December 2022, and in February 2023 — before it had released any recordings at all — it was invited to the Oddball Festival in India, sharing a bill with The Aristocrats and Bloodywood. These five songs are the first thing the group actually put out. The tracks are "Make You Regret," "Future of Those Days," "Your Socks," "No More Lies" and "Take It or Leave It." A short version of "Take It or leave It" appeared on February 8, 2023, followed by a music video for "Make You Regret" on May 6. Official audio for "Future of Those Days" and "Your Socks" went up on August 21, and the digital edition on August 22. The band's origins lie in Li-sa-X BAND, and behind it the six years Hazuki spent supporting Li-sa-X, who had debuted at twelve. Kotono joined after her former band IRONBUNNY broke up, and KOIAI was the result. Deep Indigo is the first record of that arrangement turned into music.
