Original Album Classics is JOURNEY's five-disc entry in Sony Music's budget series of that name, issued in 2012. It covers the years Steve Perry sang with the band: Infinity (1978), Evolution (1979), Escape (1981), Frontiers (1983) and Raised on Radio (1986), one album to a disc. Departure (1980) is not in it.
Two discs carry bonus tracks. Escape adds "La raza del sol" and live versions of "Don't Stop Believin'", "Who's Crying Now" and "Open Arms"; Frontiers adds "Only the Young", "Ask the Lonely", "Liberty" and "Only Solutions". That makes sixty tracks in all. The CDs come in card sleeves inside a slipcase; it reached Japan as a European import, catalogue number 88691901292.
