Silent Revenge came out in Japan first, from King Records on 26 June 2013, then in Europe through AFM Records in July and in the United States in September. It is Hibria's fourth studio album and the first made after founding guitarist Diego Kasper left in 2012, with Renato Osorio in his place.
The sound is heavier than anything before it, leaning on the sharpness of the riffing more than on outright speed. The title track moves from a quiet opening into a hard acceleration; "Lonely Fight" and "Deadly Vengeance" take the band's plainest shape, Iuri Sanson's upper register riding a repeating riff. "Silence Will Make You Suffer" got a video, and draws its idea — that silence itself becomes the revenge — from the drop between a held-back verse and an open chorus. "Shall I Keep On Burning?" and "The Place That You Belong" give melody a larger share, and the closing "Bleeding On My Regrets" walks the album out heavily.
Kasper's departure was not simply a change of guitarist: he had produced the band since the debut. The record loses none of its core for it. The Japanese edition is KICP-1659, its first pressing in special box packaging, with one bonus track added; the Russian edition added "Shall I Keep On Burning? (Unplugged)".
