Stand And Deliver

Stand And Deliver is the sixth album, polished as a 2025 release around thick American hard-rock groove and AOR-refined melody. On this Frontiers release, the new lineup is Kent Hilli (vocals), One Desire’s Jimmy Westerlund (guitar, who also mixed), and original members Mike Brignardello (bass) and David Huff (drums), with Alessandro Del Vecchio on keyboards. The guitar keeps a bluesy warmth while sounding lean, in service of each song’s hooks. Commanding vocals lead the record, and in the choruses there’s a sense of pushing forward powerfully, as the title suggests. “Time to Call It Love” (co-written with Mark Spiro), “Holdin' On For Dear Life” and “Paradise Found” include songs penned by Dann Huff, carrying the band’s bloodline into the present. Rather than flashy experiment, it favors arrangements that let the songs stand and the calm craft of each part. For savoring the stickiness of mid-tempo rhythm and the thickness of layered choruses — a record that plays the classic style with care.
