Relentless Reckless Forever

LINER NOTES
LANGUAGE
Relentless Reckless Forever is a work on which CHILDREN OF BODOM ran high-speed guitar riffs, neoclassical keyboards and rough vocals all at once. Each song moves fiercely, but by Alexi Laiho’s guitar and Janne Wirman’s keyboards crossing, a distinctive splendor also arises. It is a record that straightforwardly pursued the band’s aggressive appeal. On “Not My Funeral,” “Was It Worth It?” and “Ugly,” thrash-like edge and melodic phrases coexist, with strong drive even within short songs. Songs like “Shovel Knockout,” “Pussyfoot Miss Suicide” and “Cry of the Nihilist” breathe the band’s full playing too. While keeping technique, they value a more direct impact. Letting you savor the band’s aggressive appeal straight, it is a full record.
