Rock 'n' Roll

Rock ’n’ Roll lays out Buckcherry’s blunt guitar riffs, dry groove and provocative vocals with little unnecessary decoration. The songs favor immediate force over complexity, raising the temperature as soon as the riffs arrive. Inside the tough surface are memorable chorus phrases and a few looser mid-tempo turns. The band do not over-polish the roughness, yet they never lose the sense of a finished song. A fitting record for listeners who want hard rock that is simple and strong.
