Legendary

‘Legendary’ was the advance song from Forever, the album Bon Jovi released on 7 June 2024, and in Japan it was also issued on its own as a CD single — Universal Music, 24 April 2024, catalogue number UICY-5141, JAN 4988031642115. The disc carries the radio edit and runs about four minutes. Nothing like it was pressed outside Japan. The song was used as the theme for the Fuji TV drama Blue Moment, which began on the single’s own release date. According to the label’s announcement, it was the first time Bon Jovi had written the theme for a Japanese drama since April 2000, and their first for a Fuji TV series. The package includes an original sticker sheet using the drama’s and the band’s logos, along with the lyrics and a Japanese translation; the price was 1,364 yen before tax. 2024 was the fortieth year since the band’s debut, and in November the same anniversary produced All Time Best 1984-2024, a compilation whose contents were chosen by a vote among Japanese fans.
