Violent Pop

The third album, released on 6 March 2020 by Ranka Kustannus, takes its title from the phrase the band had been using for its own music for years. The phrase is older than the record: by the time they signed their first deal in 2015 they were already being introduced as a violent pop quintet. Alex Mattson, featured on "Timebomb", is the DJ and producer Aleksi Kaunisvesi under his own name. He had worked on the band's material from outside before joining as their sixth member in the autumn of 2020 — which means the line-up that went to Eurovision the following May was less than a year old. GG6 guests on "Snake". All three official videos from the album came from the label's channel rather than the band's: "Snake" in June 2019, a live-performance video for "Over My Dead Body" that August, and "Died Enough for You" in April 2020. A European tour ended about a week after release when the pandemic shut everything down. The official Finnish album chart holds the record at number 31, in week 9 of 2022 — almost two years after it came out, and after Eurovision had changed what the band's back catalogue meant at home.
