Bleed the Future

Bleed the Future is the fourth studio album by the Canadian technical death metal band Archspire, released on 29 October 2021 through Season of Mist. It won the 2022 Juno Award for Metal/Hard Music Album of the Year. In March 2020 the band rescheduled the Tech Trek Canada tour they were to headline with Soreption, Entheos and Wormhole, and said that while self-isolating under CDC guidelines they would keep writing the follow-up to Relentless Mutation of 2017. They announced they were entering the studio that October to finish it, once again with Dave Otero at Flatline Studios in Denver, and reported the recording complete in December, noting that the album was the product of roughly two and a half years of writing and adding that it is very fast, so please enjoy responsibly. The first single, "Golden Mouth of Ruin", appeared on 4 August 2021 with a video, alongside the release date and track listing. The album sold 3,700 units in its first week and entered the Top Album Sales chart at number 29. It is the last record with drummer Spencer Prewett, who left in September 2024. The order here is the eight tracks of the original digipak CD, SOM 636D.
