A Natural Disaster

This is the first album with the band's original bassist Jamie Cavanagh playing on it. Brother of Daniel and twin of Vincent, he had left in 1991 before any major release and came back in 2001. The band is Vincent Cavanagh on vocals, guitars and vocoder, John Douglas on drums, Les Smith on keyboards and programming, Jamie Cavanagh on bass and programming, and Danny Cavanagh on guitars, keyboards and the vocals for "Are You There?" and "Electricity". Anna Livingstone adds vocals to "Are You There?" and Lee Douglas sings the title track. Dan Turner produced and engineered, Nick Griffiths assisted and Travis Smith did the artwork. Music for Nations released it in the United Kingdom on 3 November 2003 and in the United States on 24 February 2004. From the opening "Harmonium" to the closing "Violence", the ten pieces show how long it had been since this band belonged to gothic doom. The running order here is the original's as printed.
