    Liner Notes

Unholy, released on 28 August 2009, was the last record before the band broke up. Marco Luponero handled both vocals and bass: he had joined as singer in 2006 and took on the bass too after Marko Pukkila left in 2008. Of the two founders, only drummer Tony Smedjebacka was still there. The band split afterwards, for private reasons. A caution here. The database places this album directly after The Fallen Empire, but there is one in between: Divine Invitation (2008). The label's own official copy counts the five pre-split albums as Invitation, Divinity, The Fallen Empire, Divine Invitation and Unholy. This is the fifth, not the fourth. Unholy is also the album the band's own audience rates lowest — one reviewer wrote that it had been disowned into a corner of its own.
