スウェーデンのスリーズ／グラム・メタル・バンド、SHOTGUN MESSIAHの中核を担ったジニー・ザン（Vo）とハリー・コーディ（G）が再び顔を合わせたプロジェクト、ZAN/CODYの1stフル・アルバム。Frontiers Music Srlより2026年7月24日発売で、輸入盤CDの品番はFRCD1569。1989年のSHOTGUN MESSIAHのデビュー作が持っていた荒さとフックの両立をあらためて手繰り寄せた作風で、コーディの切れ味鋭いメロディアスなギターに、ザンの退廃的で色気を帯びたヴォーカルが絡み合う。ミックスはクリス・レイニーが手がけ、当時の空気感を保ったまま音像には現代的な厚みが与えられている。懐古趣味で終わらせることなく、80年代末の北欧スリーズが持っていた鋭さを今の音で鳴らし直した一枚だ。先行シングルとして「Damn」のミュージック・ビデオと、オープナー「Sever」のリリック・ビデオが公開されている。

The debut full-length from Zan/Cody, the project that brings Shotgun Messiah's core pair — singer Zinny Zan and guitarist Harry Cody — back together. Frontiers Music Srl issues it on 24 July 2026 as an import CD, catalogue number FRCD1569. The record reaches back for the mix of grit and hooks that Shotgun Messiah's 1989 debut ran on, Cody's keen, melodic guitar winding around Zan's decadent, seductive vocal. Chris Laney handled the mix, keeping the period atmosphere intact while giving the sound a modern weight. Rather than settling for nostalgia, it replays the sharpness of late-1980s Scandinavian sleaze and glam metal in present-day terms. Two singles have gone out ahead of the album: a music video for "Damn" and a lyric video for the opener "Sever".
