N.W.O.B.H.M.シーンを代表する英国メタルのレジェンド、TOKYO BLADEによる通算15作目のスタジオ・アルバム。Dissonance Productionsからのリリースで、CDのほか2枚組アナログ盤（品番DISS20272LP）でも展開される。円熟味を増したメロディと、バンドの代名詞である力強いツイン・ギターが全編を貫く全14曲。1980年代前半にデビューして以来、幾度もの編成変更を経ながらも英国流の硬質なリフとフックの効いた歌メロを手放さずに歩んできた彼らの現在地を示す内容となっている。オープナー「Screaming Evil」からタイトル曲「Hoist The Colours High」、締めくくりの「Wasting My Time」まで、NWOBHM由来の疾走感と叙情が途切れず並ぶ。

The fifteenth studio album by Tokyo Blade, the British metal veterans who stand among the defining names of the N.W.O.B.H.M. scene. Dissonance Productions handles the release, on CD and as a double vinyl edition (DISS20272LP). Fourteen songs run on matured melody and the powerful twin-guitar work that has always been the band's signature. Since debuting in the early 1980s they have been through many line-up changes without ever letting go of hard British riffing or a hook-led vocal line, and this record marks where that leaves them now. From the opener "Screaming Evil" through the title track "Hoist The Colours High" to the closing "Wasting My Time", the drive and the lyricism that came out of NWOBHM run side by side without a break.
