ドイツ・ミュンヘンのパワー・メタル・バンド、STORMHAMMERの通算8作目。Reigning Phoenix Music傘下のROARより2026年7月17日発売で、収録時間は約42分半。1993年に"Lizard"の名で始動して以来、幾度もメンバーが入れ替わってきたバンドで、ベースのホルスト・テスマンが結成時からの唯一の在籍者として中心に立ち続けている。高評価を得た前作『SEVEN SEALS』に続く本作は、クラシックなヘヴィ・メタルとスラッシュの手触りを下敷きに、これまでよりヘヴィで攻撃的な方向へ踏み込んだ内容。速さと勇壮なコーラスだけに頼らないジャーマン・パワー・メタルの流儀を保ちつつ、硬質なギターと確かなメロディが同居する。タイトル曲「Wrath Of The Hammer」と「Scars Of The Abyss」の2曲でオフィシャル・ミュージック・ビデオが公開されている。

The eighth album by Stormhammer, the power metal band from Munich, Germany, released through ROAR, a division of Reigning Phoenix Music, on 17 July 2026 and running about forty-two and a half minutes. The band started in 1993 under the name Lizard and has been through many line-up changes since; bassist Horst Tessmann remains the only founding member still in place. Following the well-received Seven Seals, this record moves in a heavier, more aggressive direction, working from the feel of classic heavy metal and thrash. It keeps to the German power metal tradition without leaning on speed and heroic choruses alone, setting hard guitar work beside dependable melody. Official music videos are out for the title track "Wrath Of The Hammer" and for "Scars Of The Abyss".
