元SURVIVOR（サヴァイヴァー）のジム・ピートリック（Key／G／Vo）が、トビー・ヒッチコック（Vo）と組んだメロディック・ロック・ユニット、PRIDE OF LIONSの通算8作目。国内盤はマーキー・インコーポレイティド／アヴァロンより2026年7月22日発売で、2023年作『DREAM HIGHER』以来3年ぶりの新作となる。ピートリックが紡ぐ「古き良き」と呼ぶには上質すぎるメロディアス・ハード・サウンドを一貫して貫き、実質的にSURVIVORの後継プロジェクトとして20年以上活動を続けてきた彼ららしい仕上がり。哀愁たっぷりの先行曲「Edge Of Forever」のヴィジュアライザーと、快活なタイトル曲「Unbridled」のMVが公開されており、この2曲を聴くだけでもアルバムのクオリティを確信させる。なおピートリックは、2025年12月に『RIVER OF MUSIC: THE POWER OF DUETS, VOL. 1』を発表したもう一つのプロジェクト、WORLD STAGEとも並行して精力的に活動している。

The eighth album by Pride of Lions, the melodic rock unit formed by former Survivor man Jim Peterik (keyboards, guitar, vocals) with singer Toby Hitchcock. The Japanese edition arrives on 22 July 2026 through Marquee Incorporated / Avalon, three years on from 2023's Dream Higher. For more than two decades the band has effectively carried the Survivor line forward, and Peterik holds to the same melodic hard rock craft here — too well made to be filed away as merely old-fashioned. Two tracks have gone out ahead of the album: a visualizer for the wistful "Edge Of Forever" and a music video for the bright title track "Unbridled", and either one is enough to vouch for the record. Peterik meanwhile keeps his other project World Stage busy, having released River of Music: The Power of Duets, Vol. 1 in December 2025.
