1982年にドイツ・ミュンスターで結成され、80年代からメロディック・ハード／メタル・シーンを歩んできたMAD MAXの新作。2026年9月4日発売で、ROARからのリリースとなる。ミヒャエル・フォス（Vo／G）を中心とする現編成が、ハスキーで艶のある歌と伸びやかなツイン・ギターという持ち味を軸に、全11曲をまとめ上げた。過去曲を現在の音で録り直した「Piece Of Candy (2026 Version)」も収められ、バンドの歩みと現在地が一枚の中で結ばれている。先行公開されたオープナー「Silver」のオフィシャル・リリック・ビデオでは、キャッチーなサビとメロディアスなギターが早々に立ち上がる。

A new album from Mad Max, formed in Münster, Germany in 1982 and a presence in the melodic hard rock and metal scene ever since. ROAR releases it on 4 September 2026. The current line-up around Michael Voss (vocals, guitar) builds all eleven songs on what has always defined them — a husky, polished vocal and open twin-guitar lines. "Piece Of Candy (2026 Version)" re-records an older song with today's sound, tying the band's history to where they stand now. The official lyric video for the opener "Silver" is already out, and its catchy chorus and melodic guitar work arrive early.
