LINER NOTES
Zilqy's first full-length album follows Vacant Throne, the five-track EP the band issued on 5 November 2025. Zilqy launched in September 2025 as an all-female Japanese quartet: singer Anna, guitarist Toki (ex-Aldious), bassist Miho (in LOVEBITES until 2021) and drummer Kano. Anna wrote the lyrics in English throughout, the musical ideas came from Miho, Toki and Kano, and rui joins the returning Toshi-Fj and MACKY. Lance Prenc, the EP's Australian engineer, mixed and mastered again, and the sleeve is by the 3DCG artist Kyasya. Of three advance tracks, "World's End" arrived on 6 August 2026, a song in the live set since the December 2025 debut; the band report it reached number 19 on Kerrang!'s weekly new-music chart and was picked for Metal Hammer's Tracks Of The Week. "CAVEAT", begun by Kano and their fastest song, followed on 29 August 2026 after a Summer Sonic 2026 airing, and "RUN" on 16 September, the first anniversary of the band's launch, with its music video premiered the same day. The CD comes as the standard DCCA-183 and DCCA-182, a Maverick Store exclusive with an LP-size sleeve and 24-page booklet. The tour of the same name runs from Kashiwa PALOOZA on 11 October to Zepp Shinjuku on 16 December. The album holds ten songs, from "From Zero to One" to "Crimson".
