Exogalactic is the third album by Xoth, a four-piece from Seattle, Washington, and their first release in Japan. Their technical death and thrash metal starts from the influence of Florida's Death and takes in progressive rock, jazz and fusion, black metal and even anime and game music, built on fast, intricate riffing and melody; Vektor, Voivod, Cynic and Death are the usual points of comparison. The band released it themselves on 3 November 2023, with Germany's Dawnbreed Records handling Europe, and Spiritual Beast issued the Japanese CD on 24 July 2024 as IUCP-16371, adding "The Rubicon of Humanity" as a Japan-only bonus track for nine in all. The advance tracks "Manuscripts of Madness" and "Sporecraft Zero" are both up on the band's own channel as official audio over the album artwork.
