Armageddon

Armageddon is the fifth album by Warkings, a power metal band that draws its members from Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Napalm Records and Ward Records released it on the same day, 4 July 2025; the Japanese edition is GQCS-91628, two discs with a booklet and translated lyrics, the second holding thirteen live recordings. The players go by roles rather than names — The Tribune on vocals, The Crusader on guitar, The Viking on bass, The Spartan on drums and Morgana le Fay singing alongside them — and the Japanese label traces the run of albums since the band formed in 2018: Reborn, Revenge, Revolution and Morgana. The title track takes the Viking raid on Lindisfarne in 793 as its subject, with other songs on the dissolution of the Knights Templar in 1307, on Genghis Khan and on Norse myth. Orden Ogan guest on "Genghis Khan", Dominum on "Hangman's Night" and Subway to Sally on "Stahl auf Stahl". Four songs have videos on the label's channel, three of them made by shootmeup Filmproduktion.
