Wrath and Ruin opens on the six-minute "The Sword And The Cross" and closes on another long piece, "The Last of My Kind", with six songs of fast riffing and shifting structures between them, John Kevill's voice at the centre. Warbringer formed in California in 2004 and have stayed with thrash metal throughout; Napalm Records released this album worldwide on 14 March 2025 and Ward Records issued the Japanese CD (GQCS-91577) the same day, with translated lyrics and a commentary booklet. "A Better World" and "Through A Glass, Darkly" have official videos and the opening track a lyric video.
