System Error: Humanity

System Error: Humanity is the first studio album in roughly a decade from Detroit metalcore band Walls of Jericho, issued by Napalm Records on 13 November 2026. It follows 2016's No One Can Save You from Yourself; in between the band stayed on the road, the label naming Louder Than Life, Hellfest, Tied Down and Furnace Fest. Kurt Ballou of Converge produced and engineered the record with Zach Weeks, and Nick Townsend mastered it. Three guests appear: Randy Blythe of Lamb of God on "Broken Mouths Can't Speak", Guy Kozowyk of The Red Chord on "Humanity", and Patsy Puopolo with Matthew Ruby on "A Brighter Fire". Vocalist Candace Buckingham has said the band went for the ferocity of their stage set over a polished studio result, and that the words take on comparison, conformity and distraction as pressures of modern life and argue for taking one's own choices back. Napalm give its themes as reclamation, self-determination and human rights. The published line-up is Buckingham on vocals, Aaron Ruby on bass, Dustin Robert on drums, and Bobby VaLeu, Kyle Gailey and Chris Towning on guitar. "The Ascent" arrived on 14 July 2026 with an official video. The CD is a digipak. Fifteen songs.
