Born To Rock is Von Groove's first studio album since 2001, and it brings back the Canadian melodic hard rock band's original trio of Mladen (guitars), Michael Shotton (drums, vocals) and Matthew Gerrard (bass). Frontiers Music Srl released it on 15 May 2026 with a music video for the title track, which the label says contains a subtle nod to their signature song "Once Is Not Enough", and visualizers for "Fearless", "Undefeated" and "Angela". Founded in 1990, the band debuted in 1992 with a self-titled album produced by Richie Zito, on which Deen Castronovo, later of Journey, played session drums. The Japanese CD from Marquee / Avalon came out the same day as MICP-12023 and adds "I Was Born to Rock (Acoustic Version)", twelve songs and about 52 minutes in all.
