Midnight Dreams is a straight-ahead power metal album by Valentino Francavilla, the Italian guitarist best known from White Skull. Shredding in the eighties tradition is what he is usually hired for, but on his own records he sings as well, and the high tenor on these songs is his — one man carrying both the riffs and the vocal line. He has been releasing music under his own name since 2018, entirely self-financed, and it had already found an audience among power metal listeners abroad. The album itself came out on 17 October 2023 as another self-release; this is the first time it has been pressed in Japan. Ward Records issued it on 10 May 2024 as GQCS-91461, adding a cover of Helloween's "Ride The Sky" that only the Japanese edition carries — ten tracks, about forty-one minutes. His first Japanese shows were announced for July 2024 alongside it.
