LINER NOTES
Twelve Fleetwood Mac songs, each with its own line-up from hard rock and metal, make up Cleopatra Records' Steel Rumours. Jürgen Engler produced the two that went out first: Doro's "Go Your Own Way", with Joel Hoekstra and Greyson Nekrutman, and the opening "Rhiannon", sung by Lorraine Lewis with George Lynch, Corey Parks and Nekrutman again. "Rhiannon" also closes the record, in an acoustic version by Candice Night and Marcus Nand; Night is heard earlier on "The Chain", with Doug Aldrich. In between, Tim "Ripper" Owens takes "The Green Manalishi (With The Two Prong Crown)", Ronnie Romero is on "Don't Stop" and "Black Magic Woman", Cherie Currie sings "Everywhere" and Tiffany is on "Gypsy" and "Edge Of Seventeen". Holly West and Fred Aching Rios of Dead Groove play on "Dreams" and "Little Lies"; Alex Skolnick, Vinnie Moore, Chris Poland, Pat Travers and Chris Holmes are among the guitarists, and Vinny Appice and Chris Adler among the drummers. The US CD (CLO7464CD) and Ultra-Vybe's import for Japanese distribution with an obi (CLO7464CDJ) both carry the date 20 November 2026, and the US splatter-vinyl LP 27 November.
