Symbiosis runs five tracks and about 25 minutes, and the Japanese label counts it as the fifth release by Tyrmfar, a Swiss melodic death metal five-piece formed in 2013. WormHoleDeath Records issued it on 28 March 2025; WORMHOLEDEATH JAPAN brought it to Japan on 29 August as BITX-1392, an import prepared for Japanese distribution. The Japanese label picks out the blast beats and the pace as what defines the record. Every song on it has a video on the band's own channel: Benjamin Brahovic directed the clip for "Symphony of Pain", "Pilgrimage of Oneness" got a lyric video, and "The Reckoning, Pt.2" and "Haunted by the Truth" were filmed as guitar and drum playthroughs. "The Hubris of Humanity, Pt.1" was shot as a live session, with drum recording and mixing by Max Broccard, lighting and camera by Benjamin Brahovic and Manon Aymon of Pentamedia, and the mix and master by Rob Carson.
